Position Title:
Online ESL Teacher (Hybrid, Evening Priority)
Salary:
$16-20 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Part time position, approximately 20 hours per week (includes 15 teaching hours and 5 hours for preparation, meetings, and administrative tasks)
Position Overview:
Ozark Literacy Council (OLC) is seeking an Online ESL Instructor to deliver high-quality virtual instruction for adult learners in both English as a Second Language (ESL) and WAGE (Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy) programs. WAGE is an Arkansas-based workforce education initiative that helps adults build essential digital literacy, financial literacy, and employability skills to earn industry-recognized certificates and strengthen their career opportunities. Curriculum and instructional materials will be provided. Training and support from senior teachers will be available, and schedules may be adjusted based on instructor availability following discussion.
This hybrid position primarily delivers evening online classes and may occasionally include morning or afternoon sessions depending on program needs. The instructor may also serve as an in-person substitute teacher when needed.
